You can register before making a purchase on the website. You are responsible for keeping your account’s login and password secure and preventing unauthorised access. You agree to be liable for all activities that occur under your account or password. Please take every precaution to ensure that the login and password remain private and secret. Please notify us immediately if you have any reason to suspect that your username and/or password have become known to a third party, are currently being used in an unauthorised manner, or are likely to be used in such a manner.
Please verify that the registration information you give is accurate and full, and tell us immediately of any changes (e.g. change of email or postal address). You may view and modify your information using the “My Account” section of the website.
We retain the right to prohibit access to the Site, terminate accounts, delete or modify material, or cancel orders. If we cancel your order, you will not be charged.
Security and Communication
We gather some personal and transactional information when you place an order, including your name, address, email address, and credit/debit card information. To learn more about how we utilise this information, please see our Privacy Statement.
In order to fulfil our duties to you under these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions, we will communicate with you by email and by publishing notices on the Website. You consent to receive electronic communications from us, and agree that these communications will meet any legal requirement that communications be in writing.
This also applies to sites you access through designerhome.co.uk or are redirected to.
The agreement between us
When you make an order on our website to purchase an item, you are making an offer to purchase the item. By placing an order, you affirm that the information you provide is true, accurate, current, and full, and that your credit or debit card information is valid and your own.
We will send you an email verifying that we have received your order prior to processing it. Once the transaction has been processed, we will send you another email including the full details of your order (“Order Confirmation email”) and information on our returns policy; at this point, we accept your order and a legally binding contract is created.
We have the right to cancel purchases if there are price or inventory difficulties.
Product colour, specs, and measurements
We have made every attempt to portray the colours, measurements, and specs of products as precisely as possible on the website. The colours you see will depend on the resolution of your monitor; we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s depiction of any colour will be correct. The dimensions, specifications, and quantities of products listed on our website are subject to change without prior notice.

In addition to these intellectual property rights, the material, defined as: graphics, photographs, picture rights, sounds, music, audio or text, is correct and comprehensive to the best of our knowledge, but we cannot guarantee that it is error-free. onid.co.uk cannot guarantee that the site’s functionality, including HTML, content, and functional elements, are error-free. You also accept that you and onid.co.uk have no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency connection. You will not portray yourself as an employee, agent, or representative of ONID Limited, and we will not be responsible for any representation, act, or omission made by you.
The right to cancel purchases during the “Cooling-Off” period
If you reside in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from the purchase of any item within a “Cooling-Off” period of fourteen working days beginning the day after the item is delivered to you (the “Cooling-Off” period). This privilege applies to all things listed on the Website, with the exception of custom-made items, such as a bespoke chandelier or a made-to-measure linear fitting.
You are responsible for paying the return shipping costs.
If you desire to cancel your order or return products purchased from us, please use the form provided here.
The “Cooling-Off” time only applies to sales made to consumers.
Products are charged in GBP sterling at the price prevailing at the time you place your purchase. The prices listed on the website are inclusive of Value Added Tax, which will be added at the current rate.
The delivery fee is an added expense. Refer to our Delivery Information for further information. Although we make every effort to assure the accuracy of the pricing listed on the website, mistakes may occur. If we uncover a pricing problem on your order, we will inform you as soon as possible. You may either reconfirm your order at the right price or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you, we will cancel your order for the item with the wrong pricing.
The prices mentioned on the website are solely valid for online purchases. They do not reflect the pricing of identical products purchased in our shop or through other channels. We have the right to modify pricing on the website at any time.
On the secure online purchase form, you may provide your credit card or debit card information to pay for the things you order online. We apologise that we are unable to take checks, gift certificates, or cash online.
When you place an order, our system immediately requests authorisation from your card issuer for the total amount. If we get a valid authorisation, your card issuer will hold this amount in anticipation of our transaction. Receipt of your credit card details and deduction of funds does not represent our acceptance of your order.
Please be aware that we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted through email to Designerhome.co.uk. Consequently, please refrain from sending us payment details by email. Please read our Privacy Statement for more on the security measures we deploy. We shall not be liable for any losses caused by unauthorised access to the personal and transactional information you supply while placing an order, unless we have acted fraudulently or negligently.
If you desire to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible by the cancellation form, email, or phone. As we strive to rapidly handle orders, it may not always be feasible to avoid a shipment. You may return things to us in line with our Returns Policy if your purchase has already been sent (below).
As soon as we get notification of your cancellation of an item, we will reimburse the applicable portion of the item’s purchase price as well as the item’s standard shipping fee. We are unable to reimburse any priority, express, or courier postal costs. This is applicable only if the order is cancelled prior to shipment. If you cancel your entire purchase before to shipment, you will receive a full refund.
As an EU consumer, if you reside in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from the purchase of any goods within fourteen working days, beginning the day after the item is delivered to you. The “Cooling-Off” time only applies to sales made to consumers. Please go to our cancellations page for information on how to cancel or return an order placed with us.
Important Note: Custom or made-to-order goods or services cannot be cancelled or returned unless they are defective or not as ordered.
You are responsible for their safekeeping and reasonable care until they are returned to us. We do not assume responsibility for returned items that are damaged during return shipping. You are responsible for appropriately wrapping things to prevent damage.
Please tell us as soon as possible or within 28 days if we delivered you the wrong item, and we will arrange for its collection. If you would want us to replace the erroneous item with the item you bought, we will send you the proper item as quickly as possible, or we will provide a refund for the returned item.
In the case that you get damaged or missing items, and we are at fault, we will make every effort to correct the problem as soon as feasible. All broken items and shortages must be reported within three business days after receiving the shipment. Please contact our sales department with the specifics of the damage, including a photograph of the damaged item, and receive a return merchandise authorisation (RMA) number. Our sales department’s email address is email@example.com
If the items are not to be unpacked within three days of delivery, we must be alerted.
When you use your own shipper, we will not be liable for any losses occurring in transit. A signature from your preferred courier upon pickup verifies that they have received your purchase in excellent condition and that the boxes have been labelled per their requirements. Your shipper must offer the proper insurance coverage for your order.
Items Damaged in Transit
If you accept receipt of a box from us and the contents have been damaged in transportation, we will swap the damaged products free of charge if you return the damaged item(s) to us within 30 days of receiving the package.
We are not liable to you or any third party for any business loss (including loss of revenue, profits, contracts, anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, data, or goodwill) or any other loss or damage that does not directly result from our actions or the actions of our subcontractors or agents, is consequential, or was not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was formed.
Our obligation to you under these Online Shopping Conditions is limited to the purchase price of the products in question. Nothing in these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions exempts us from liability for bodily damage or death resulting from our carelessness.
Occurrences We Cannot Reasonably Control
We are not liable for any delay or failure to comply with our duties under these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions if the delay or failure is from a cause that is beyond our control.
Changes to this website’s structure and terms and conditions
We retain the right to modify this Website, these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Statement, and any other rules that we may notify you of at any time. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in place at the time you use the Website or order anything from the Website. Changes that we are compelled by law to make may apply to orders you have already placed. If any of the terms and conditions comprising the agreement between us are determined to be invalid, void, or unenforceable for any reason, they will be deemed severable and will not impact the legality and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions.
If you violate these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions and we do not take action, we retain the right to exercise our rights and remedies in other instances when you are in violation.
Applicable legislation and jurisdiction
The laws of England and Wales govern the interpretation and application of these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions. You and we both agree to be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
